1. Gravel Ground La Palma is a non-competitive cycling event. The start and finish will be in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

2. The route will not be physically marked and participants will follow the same through the track that the organization will provide.

3. There will be different refreshment points along the route.

4. The route is open to traffic at all times, the participant must respect the General Traffic Regulations in force.

5. The route is suitable for gravel or mtb bikes. It is also allowed to participate on an electric bike.

6. All routes run mainly along main forest tracks that are properly marked, avoiding at all times traveling through trails or protected areas of Natural Parks or Areas of Natural Interest.

7. Registration for the event is personal and non-transferable, and implies acceptance of all articles of these regulations, as well as the conditions of purchase. Registrations will be closed when the limit established by the organization is reached.

8. Cancellation insurance: in case of cancellation, the organization will only refund the registration fee if the affected participant paid the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, which is set at 50 € and will be deposited for expenses incurred. This refund will only be made up to 30 days before the start of the event. After this date no registration will be refunded.

9. The organization has a liability insurance according to current legislation. All participants will have an accident insurance contracted by the organization. This insurance will cover the following points: – Unlimited medical assistance for sports accidents in Spanish territory.

• Disability according to the sports accident schedule of up to 12,000€.

• Death due to sports accident up to € 6,000. The notification of the sports accident must be on the same day as the sports event. Coverage for medical or medical-surgical assistance will only be in the health care centers arranged by the insurance.

10. The participants of the race by registering give their consent to Gradant SL, by itself or through third parties, automatically and exclusively for sporting, promotional or commercial purposes, process their personal data. To waive this transfer, the participant must express it in the registration form at the time of registration. In accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons, have implemented those policies, means and technical and organizational procedures to ensure and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data of its users. The participant has the right to access these files in order to rectify or cancel all or part of their content. To do so, he/she must apply in writing by sending an e-mail to info@gravelground.cc.

11. The participant performs the test under his absolute responsibility. The participant declares that he/she is in optimal physical condition for the development of the race and that he/she does not suffer from any disease that could endanger his/her physical integrity. The participant acknowledges that he/she has been informed by the organization of all the characteristics of the activity (physical, psychological, material, site, etc.) and performs it in full knowledge of them, and also recognizes that the activity may involve a high physical requirement and may have unforeseeable consequences for health.

12. In no case will the registration fee be refunded, unless the race is suspended by decision of the organization, for reasons attributable to the same and / or for reasons related to the Coronavirus pandemic.

13. In case of extraordinary weather conditions or force majeure not attributable to the organization and that make impossible the celebration of the race, the organization will not assume any responsibility and will not make any refund of the registration fee.

14. By the mere fact of registering for the event, the entirety of these regulations is accepted. What is not foreseen will be submitted to the decision of the organization.
